Crossbox for sale?????

Ok guys I'm thinking about fabbing some crossboxes and selling them. They would be made out of 4"x6" rect. steel tubing. Not sure on the thinkness of the tuging yet but it will probably be 1/4" thick. They would come with the mounts so that you could bolt it to the truck and flanges for the stacks and another flange for it to go through the bed. I'm only going to do this if people would be interested in buying them of course. Would yall be interested or is this just bad idea?

I think there would be interest, but you'd lose all the profit on shipping 75lbs of metal. You'd need to look into shipping with a LTL freight carrier. The cheapest would still be $150+ since the stack boxes are bulky. You may want to ask around, I believe Rob Thomas makes complete stack setups including the crossover box. Not trying to rain on your parade, but there's some logistics to work out before trying this.

It would be a bad idea here at DTR as we reserve the right to advertise in the forums for PAID DTR vendors only. Something like this would also not be appropriate in the classifieds, which is only for member use and NO business ads.
