Cool Twist Intercooler

Anyone tried one yet? If so, are they as good as they claim?

I'm not impressed by their lingo. What's 1 million millicycles?? 1,000,000 * 0.001 = 1000 cycles?

And what does this statement mean?

I'm sure the IC works great, but their advertising leaves something to be desired.

It works rather well. Rip has one on his truck. The fastest 4x4 24 valve truck at the track last year. 11.89 @ 111 MPH.

He measured the intake temps at 70 degrees cooler than stock intercooler at the track. Back to back on the same evening while running down the 1/4 mile.

Don,

Did he pick up anything in the quarter mph, et or both? Do you know if he dynoed it? I understand every combo would react differently, but I am curious as to any quantifiable gains other than temp, not that 70 degrees is anything to sneeze at.

Does anyone monitor the Post Intercooler temps on a routine basis? 70 degrees is a BIG claim. Particularly if it fits in the same space as the stock intercooler. That is a huge increase in efficiency. Just Curious. Using simple rules of thermo this doesn't add up.
