Anyone running this turbo yet?? It's a Switzer hybrid that cools better than an HX40 and spools better than stock,...that's their claim. I asked how it compared to the B1-04 and they said it spools lightening quick and cools at least equal to the B1-04. It is suppose to be for 400 to 600HP trucks and reduces egts by 350 to 425 degrees. They further claim 950+ cfm on this turbo. Sounds like the Mother single. The Cost is $1500 and another $100 for the downpipe. Now,...how about some real world input. Comments??

 

For that price I would buy the B1 again.

Actually it is a hybrid made of, I think they said, 3 different Switzer's.

 

is it the same as a Super B from BD?

 

the airwerks super turbo is the same as the super b (switzer s300 hybrid). the cool twist is an in house turbo by city diesel. the cool twist does not spool like the super turbo. i have the super b (super turbo) and it spools near stock -- very responsive spool up. the super b keeps going where the stock turbo would begin to die in the middle of power band.
