Connector Tubes??
My buddy has a 98.5 24 valve. He swapped injectors, but is running the stock injector tubes. Hes not sure if his was supposed to need the upgraded injector tubes or not. What are the symptoms you need the aftermarket injector tubes? Will the truck not run right, low on power, or what? Thanks for any help.

If the engine serial number (ESN) 56462592 it should have new injector tubes installed. Design revisions have been made to the injector connector tube, and the new design can be re-torqued multiple times without compromising the seal between the connector tube and high pressure fuel line.
If you have a problem it will be fuel leaking around the line where it goes into the head.

Are all the replacement tubes reuseable? I had new ones put in when my injectors and IP were replaced last Dec., and I asked the shop about that and they didn't know.
My SN is prior to the one you listed.
