Bigger Connector Tubes?

Is there such a thing? If so where can you buy them and the cheapest? Also do they sell replacement bigger injection lines? Also would these increase power, efficiency or nothing? Just wondering. thanks

I think it is Shieds or Haisleys that you need to talk to.
I also remember there is a surging that happens, just like with bigger lines..
And some simply removed the filter inside the connector tubes.
I hope someone gives us the correct story.

seems like bigger injection lines would hurt the engine, just make a constant flow of diesel instead of the pulse, and what are connector tubes? i'm fairly new to cummins and want to learn everything i can about the 5.9 cummins.

I got a set of tubes from Haisleys. They are sized to .093 and have the edge filter inside removed. I installed the .093 lines, tubes and injectors at the same time, so I really cant give an accurate discription as to what they did for power by themselves. For a daily driver, I think the tubes would be fine, but the lines make for an extremely radical idle as they affect timing and injector pop off. Depending on the condition of the VP could lead to stalling, surging, etc. From what Ive seen it seems to vary truck to truck as far as how well they work. I do remove the lines during the winter when there arent any pulls around and put the stock ones back on. I havent tried them with the Scheid VP yet as its still here in a box next to me. As soon as I get a warm day im gonna put it on and see what happens. I believe the stock inside diameter is .063 on the ISB.

Here is what I have found, If you are going to get a Hotrod vp44 you want those tubes to go with it. The tubes and Hotrod vp44 definitely provide a cam'n effect a customer I know got them both from Scheid Diesel
