computer reflash ?s
Just finished Allison swap and will be putting up the full story with pics on how it went soon.
Has anyone here re-flashed their truck from an auto to Manual to get the check engine light off? Did it work correctly? how did you do it?
This is the last thing I need to do.....

Dealer told me that it was impossible to flash a auto to manual or vice-versa, you have to buy the correct PCM.
I don't always trust the dealer's knowledge on trucks ten years or older though. May be good to ask one of the outfits that sells PCMs.
