Comp help

A little help please!
I just installed the Edge Comp yesterday, and I was wondering how to use the settings? I did not tap the fuel wire for fear of the stock trans going bye-bye. So what does everyone set it on for daly driving, trailering(10,000#), and playing around(blowing smoke)?
Thanks for the advice!

well since you are just running it in ez mode, only setting 1 and 2 work (i think) you can turn it on 3 and 4 and 5, but there is no additional hp added. so i would turn it all the way up and run it like that.

Then you need to tap the wire when you get a new trans. cause man! it fuels and it fuels hard. the comp is so much better then the ez.

Yeah, you really can't do much without the pump wire tapped. I run my Juice(basically a comp with added features) on level 2 and 3 when on the highway and in town.

You could go ahead and tap the wire, and learn how to keep from shuddering the trans with your foot.

Use settings??? As far as i know everything works properly when all the red bars are lit up. If theres only partial bars, your risking boredrom and its highly advised to ensure for maximum smilage to keep the red bars to the right.

i would personally get the drag version lol. i have the drag box with wire taped and my stock tranny lasted for 12000 surprising miles. had the comp first then got the drag, there was no comparison. drag fuels even harder than comp and best thing is it fuels all the way to 3200 rpms rather than 2600 with the comp.

I leave mine on 5X5. For me, my mileage in the lowest setting is the same as in the extreme.
