Coil Springs anyone??

I need to replace the front coil springs on my 01. It's got a big bumper on it too, so maybe something that'll hold better than just stock. But I don't know what good brands are. Anyone know or have suggestions? I'd appreciate it, oh also does Moog make any? Nothing real expensive either would be good, it's a ranch truck and a 2wd, so it's on dirt roads a lot and kinda bumpy too

Thanks guys!

i don't know if they make em for the 2wd but im sure happy with the coils in my sig.

if you search around on here you will find carrier spring services (i think) - they have a website, just google it. tuftruck is the manufacture and supplies to carrier - you can also buy direct. both companies are in bc canada - if you get a hold of them im sure they can find a dealer in your area.

there is also another company that seems to be popular on this site - i don't remember the name but it does start with a 'c'.

hth,
jason

Ok, I wasn't able to find the Moog coil springs online anywhere. I looked into another website but they didn't quite have what I needed.

I'm kinda looking for something a bit more heavy duty than stock. I have a replacement bumper on the truck, a balebed, and I will have a cake feeder for the cattle that'll have about 3000# in it when it's filled. I need something for the front that'll handle a bit of weight. I've already got the air bags on the rear axle. So I'm good there. Anyone know where I may be able to find some good heavy duty springs for the front? Or should I maybe get some spacers to level it a little more along with some stock springs? Anyone have advice on the best way to install them? I've done a 4wd, with the spacers and it wasn't fun lol. Thanks!

Got mine from Coil Spring Specialties
Called 'em up and told them what I wanted (2.5" lift with heavy front bumper replacement) and they made them and shipped them for a reasonable price (PM me if you want to know). They offer different rates too, I believe.

From left to right:
Stock Springs: 18" tall with 7 1/8 coils
Skyjacker D25's: 20" tall with 6 3/4 coils
CSS 2.5" Lift: 19.5" tall with 8 1/8 coils
The CSS 2.5" lift coils are 1.5" taller than the stocker, but do not compress as much.
Unfortunately I do not have ride height measurement for all three springs.
