Just installed some coil spacers & don't like the appearance of the truck. The front looks higher than the back although it measures 1/2" lower than back. How much will a set of these spacers settle down?

They won't-- not noticeably so.

Springs will, but spacers will force you to triim or deal.

Well, today I parked on level ground & it is definately looking good. I guess I was so used to tilting my head to look at my truck, kinda forgot to tilt it back. I don't know if the springs settled or what, but I like it now.

 

Yeah it messes with your eyes at first but it is perfect when done,I love mine except when I am hauling it looks like I have a monster load.

its funny on my 2wd, a 2 inch puck raised the front 3 inches at the fender, crazy huh i did not forsee that happening, so i added to 2 inch block out back and now its just right

I think it looks fine!

When we added spacers like that on my g/f's truck we thought the same at first and then realized it was about level and looked better!

 

Thanks, I'm just wondering if this is going to hurt me for sled pulling & towing. I hope not.

 

I noticed my steel spacers hurt towing performance a little. Seems like the front end hunts and darts around more when you have a big load on the bumper hitch. Maybe some airbags would help with the heavy loads, or just get rid of the spacers, not sure what would be better. JLent, I swear my mileage decreased a little with the spacers, maybe they cause more wind drag.

 

I think it looks good! Def looks better than the front end sagging to the ground. I myself will be putting in some sort of leveling kit later this year.

If it doesn't tow well, they are coming out.

 

It's not that it doesn't tow well, it's just that it was better on mine without them. Kind of like running big squishy tires compared to sure footed aired up 265's. Both tow well but the smaller heavy duty E rated tires seem to feel more solid when you have a skidsteer pushing you down a grade.

 

I was weighed in at a weigh station at 24,860#. Trailer is aound 16k#, I'm just gonna have to try it.

 

It looks good bud it makes your 33's look tiny,I have those 315's on my truck and that big truck dwarfs even those tires.
