Angry That was close, for a while I thought my LP was good!!

Yip got the FP gauge up an running. Started the truck, fingers crossed, gauge up to 10 psi!! WOOHOO. Couldn't test drive it then, so next day its dry out and start getting on it, just to watch the FP fall. Floored it drops to 2psi, but easy driving I can keep it above 5. Hooked up about 9K trailer and again keeping it right around 2K rpm, FP hovers around 5psi. Now I need to read the few and scare LP threads! So far looking at keeping the stock one and adding a Carter 4601HP to it. or maybe even just doing a big fuel line kit, (Scotty smart fuel or something similar) A FASS is still outa my $ range now. Anyone running a RASP? heard about this but haven't seen a follow on it? Is it only for high HP trucks? Also within a week, we are driving to FL towing, would this be ok, dunno how long its been that way. Or any thing quick and cheap to do before the trip? If not, if it makes the trip, I'll be redoing the FP system.

If you think the FASS is expensive you should price a RASP.

I got a little over 90K on the truck, bought it with 56K on it. Original LP with me, unles it was replaced before I got it, but highly doubt it. Great the RASP is more. hmmm I guess a pusher pump is the way I'll go for now.
BigBlue what fittings did u use on the VP or do you have a link to your fuel system?

You should seriously consider doing the Holley mod. Get the SmartFuel kit from Scotty and purchase a Holley Blue and the relay harness from Summitt Racing. You will spend about the same amount as a replacement LP.

I just did mine and I have 15 PSI pressure constant, It drops to about 14 PSI under full load. That makes me happy. I have pictures of the install if you want to see them.
