Hi guys
I had problems with my 96 dodge , In the morning I would get 2 miles from my house and in OD the trany would slip from 1600 rpms then jump to 2000 , I would let off the pedal and then it would re-engauge and be fine .
when it was warm it was fine .
So I took it to my friends trany guy ...seem like he knew what he was talking about ... but I'm a good EDIT when I need to be ...LOL
So he pulled trans temp sensor code and a trans slipping code too .
I figurered I would put a trans temp sensor ...are they a external on a 96 47re or do I have to remove the pan ...?
Thanks
Greg

Re: trans
It basiclly just dis-engauges around 1600 in OD then I let off the pedal and it re-engauges ... after it warms up it seems to be fine ...it only dose it in the morning ... it could sit all day out side my shop and it's just fine ...?
I even tried to push the OD button and it did not re-engauge.
Thanks
