so i have 300 bucks to spend on my truck what do you guys recommend me getting? my tranny needs some help but everything i need for that is over 1300 bucks. what do you think???

 

unless I missed it, it looks like you could use some gauges. You could also send your comp in to get the hot unlock.

 

haha yea i have gauges i was thinking about a fuel gauge but good thinking with the unlock for the edge. i think im going to do that! any other ideas

 

if you don't have a fuel gauge, I would get one for sure. In my opinion, that is one of the most important gauges, right up there next to pyro if you are running hot. if your temps aren't that hot then the fuel press gauge is the most important, again just my opinion

 

yea i know im getting plenty of fuel i can peg my egt gauge and get plenty of boost so i know im good there maybe the hot unlock and a low fuel pressure warning light.

 

that would be a great way to spend your money

 

I vote to keep saving for the tranny repairs. Why spend money to make it faster when the tranny is already having trouble?

If your dead set on running blind on fuel pressure than just put the money in a jar or envelope labeled tranny fund

xmas was minimal for the truck as black friday gun sales took priority...5" exhaust on the way.

 

does any one know a good gauge and sending unit i dont want junk parts but i know they are expensive gauges. i think im still going to do the hot unlock i will probably just blow the tranny up some day and take out a loan and get a fully built georend

I have been really happy with my Auto Meter- Phantom series gauge. what kind of gauges do you already have? Just go with the same brand so they match.

 

I picked up a ISSPRO fuel pressure gauge and got a autometer tubing kit. Then i picked up a steering column pod also. Total cost around 110 bucks

 

I used a stainless line for the fuel psi vs. the plastic tubing kit. It's guaranteed not to break/leak and prevented any kinks that may happen. Found the stainless line at Lowes.
