Catcher and Comp?

Is any one running one of Marcos ECMs with a Comp?
My next upgrade will be a set of Don Ms injectors probably 4 or 5s depending on his recommendations (havent called just yet as Im still a couple bucks short for that call)
and then Im going to try one of Marcos ECMs. My problem is should I sell the Comp and get a fueling only box? Or does the ECM programed for the timming the Comp has work as well? Also I understand the ECM dosent address the 2700 de-fuel problem so if I change boxes I need one that wont stop at 2700. Looking for thoughts here guys and thanks in advance.

The catcher can be programed without the timing to run with the comp just give them all your info and they will get you the right program

the catcher with mach 5s supplies a ton of low end fuel and gets the twins spooled FAST you could keep the comp and get a ''special'' version catcher, either way you wont go wrong, you'll wonder why you waited so long

1ST GEN. I heard there was one for the Edge timming( special) but wondered if it worked as well. The reason im thinking of changing out the comp is I have to upgrade it to the Drag model anyway if I want to stop the upper end defuel so I figured I would ask some questions. Hows the smoke with the 5s and the catcher? Does the 4wd out run the 2wd listed in your sig? Thanks

My MAD ECM eliminated low end AND top end defueling. I had asked for it... Marco thought he had figured out how to provide it....said he would try.... and did!. I assume it is now part of the standard offering but not sure?

I think the special catcher is a little less peppy because it has less or no timing but the comp will take care of the timing but I have a comp and I wanted the original catcher version because I didn't want to have to run with the box on all the time to get the full benefits so I left the comp on the other truck and decided to get a fueling only box but haven't decided which one, the 4wd is quiet a bit heavier but every time I get out of it, and in to the 2wd I wonder were all my power went I have even checked to see of the emergency brake was on

I have to drive pretty easy to not get a lot of smoke, before boost builds you can get a crazy amount of smoke if you need to

Have not hit hot weather yet...so may be difficult to compare. But I believe I get less smoke with MAD ECM than I did with EZ (set on low) stacked on PM3.

I love mine. If the Special is less peppy then the normal version must be a monster. It spools my Sledpuller 66 better than the HTB2 spooled without the ecm. But it makes the truck extremely touchy on the throttle. At 60 mph the boost gauge and the throttle are connected. There is no way I would let the wife drive the truck now if there is even a chance of rain. Unbelieveable difference in the rate of boost increase and performance. It doesn't create permagrins it creates permawoodies.

If it throws out that much boost that fast, doesn't that bring us back around to killing fuel mileage again.

Throttle response....Easy to get use to, IMO....just not for the uninitiated on wet/snowy roads!
