Carter P/N please.....

I am going to install a pusher pump in the near future and would like to know what part number Carter (or other) pusher is used for the CTD application. I have been around the horn and haven't had any luck finding this.

Want to buy one at the local Napa.

Thanks Much,
Sned.

Enterprise Engine has the Carter pump and kit. Call Dave. I think their link is on this site also.

Re:Carter P/N please.....

Thanks for pointing me to the links. I'm just not real crazy about buying online or sight unseen. I'm one a them touchy feely kinda guys who likes to look things over before I hand over my hard earned. I will buy a pump online if I can't find what I need locally, I figure buying locally is much cheaper too.

If I do buy online what would I expect to pay?....$150 to $200??

Thanks,
Sned

Here is a link to Jeg's, The Silver pump is the one that guys are using, $72.99...

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...mp;prmenbr=361

All you need to provide is connections between the pump and the stock fuel lines. I would say your down the road for less than $100...

HTH,

Re:Carter P/N please.....

Personally I would only buy an LP from a Cummins dealer. I have purchased 6 or so 4601's from NAPA/Jannetty and they were not long lasting although this last one (NAPA) is doing much better. They do have a 1 yr warranty but the local NAPA got tired of seeing me and finally said no more :'(. I will not be putting on as many miles as I was since I have a new off the road job so I would say this pump will last longer as it has only been on for a few months now and pressures are holding normal.
