Stock turbo? That must be one toasty ride.

I'm guessing about 350. Limited by your turbo.

Never heard of the Blue Box-- don't know what it does, or how it could help with a Smarty and Drag Comp.

You're probably between 345 and 370-- allowing for the often considerable variance from truck to truck.

Sounds like you are a little over-boxed to me. For example, the Drag Comp doesn't do a lot more than a std Comp on an HO truck.

You and I are probably in the same power ballpark, but I've only a smarty and injectors.

Yeah it does get a little hot but I got a HTT 62/71/13 on the way! Should be here any day now The blue box is by blue chip diesel and I'm using it for the fueling end of things best guess around 125-140hp to the ground with that box. I think I'm gonna go bigger injectors as well Mach 4's or 6's and can't wait for the new quadzilla box. I'll probably have to go to a SO pump to get full benefit though

OK, so it's a Dyno Sources re-badge of the Blue Chip Blue box-- that makes more sense.

So what are you using your Drag Comp for?

You're probably not getting 125-140hp from ANY fueling box on an HO, as far as I know. I'm not aware of any fueling box that can actually make more than 100hp on an HO apart from timing. For example, a TST that makes 120-130hp on an SO truck makes about 90 on an HO. Stack it with an EZ and you get 30-40hp of that back.

Thats interesting Hohn and also DEPRESSING I use the edge drag like a ez and use the timing end of it, now this might all be real stupid and since I have not put it on a dyno who the heck knows if it's doing a dang thing I may be just peeing in the wind But soon I should know . But that brings me to the next question then is it even worth putting bigger injectors in if I am running the HO pump, Should I wait until I get a SO??

Wait until you get a turbo HO's respond well to injectors, you should be able to pick up 80 hp with sticks.

Yeah, that's why I went with big injectors and a mild box. I'm hoping to add a TST someday, but I'm not expecting a humongous increase in power-- maybe 60-70hp. I'm already so overfueled, though that adding more fuel won't give me any power, I suspect.

I'm getting the HTT 62/71/13 from ETR and I got it for $1680 down pipe, clamps and shipping included. I shopped around and that by far was the best deal I could find(hopefully nobody tells me different. ) I can't wait to see how it runs!

Yeah, you're definitely "over-boxed". Running the Drag Comp in EZ mode is doing about the same thing as the Smarty, and the Blue Chip box is taking care of your top end fueling. I assume you're running the Smarty on even numbers, so you're just getting the fueling off the Smarty?

And just as a reference, I dyno'ed 373hp with DD2s, Edge Comp (std) and the stock turbo. This should be close to your setup.
