CAMSHAFT

I HAVE A 97 215 HP TRUCK THAT I PLAN ON PUTTING IN 370 INJECTORS A PDR HX 40 191 DELIVERY AND A # 10 TORQUE LATE SLIDE FORWARD WILL I NEED A DIFFERENT CAM TO KEEP EGT S TO A REASONABLE LEVEL OR WILL THEY BE OK IF I KEEP IT OUT OF THE FLOOR

IMO that year engine responds well to porting of the cylinder head first. Cam second.<br><br>Don~

I ran a tuned pump, 191 DV, 370 injectors, 35/16,, #5 or no plate, 4000gov kit, 16 degrees timing for along time.<br><br>Yes, you can bury the pyro.<br>Yes, you can control them with your foot.<br>1/4 mile runs or sled pulls will never melt that engine down at your fueling level.<br><br>Your posts sound like you are ready to rock, get another engine and start from the ground up, when you finish, you will be bored with your setup you want now, it will be a nice transition over to the dark side!
