Have read Haisley cams are a regrind... Helix 2 is not, which would account for price difference.

Cam can make a big difference.. depending on what your trying to accomplish.

I have a Helix 2, and the most noticeable change, is the lower EGT's when at no or low boost. There maybe some changes with spoolup, but that is so hard to tell. Max boost also dropped a few pounds (which is a good thing).

I would check into the Scheid's Street Puller cam call Brad Ingram tell him what you are looking at doing...(800)-669-1934 When you want raw power and performance they are one of the best if not the best.

Good luck finding specs on these cams, they just aren't advertised like in the gasser world.
I went with the Helix II mainly because F1 had the only option at the time for a bolt on gear, with the P-pump I was a little concerned about breaking off the end of the cam. Since you don't have a P-pump you probably wont need the bolt on gear set-up and can go with any of the vendors cams. F1, PDR, Haisleys, Scheids all have great cams so I would say pick who you feel the most comfortable dealing with.

If you are planning on P-Pumping in the future than go with a Haisley or a Schieds cam..

I couldn't be happier with the Helix 2 Don made for my p-pump converted truck. Bolt on gear is something to consider if you are planning on a conversion down the road. Plus you can fix the lift pump issue.

IIRC all F1 cams have the mechanical fuel pump lobe if you need it.
If your going to bump up your FASS pump then it wont matter if it has the lobe or not.
