caliper/pads info needed

hey guys,
i need to change my pads and while looking up some parts at napaonline, i noticed the severe duty pads were between 80-90 dollars. so i decided to look up calipers(truck pulls to the right)when i noticed you can get the rebuilt caliper with the severe duty pads together for 71.99. what do you guys think about this deal? after this set of new pads wear out i will be buying brembo rotors and hawk pads from tirerack, so iam not worried about the original rotors seeing there last set of pads. anybody used these caliper/pads before?
thanks for any info guys Mark

I use Napa rebuilt calipers exclusively, they're just fine.
Generally heavy duty more expensive pads squeak, the Hawks included.
Go for a lower grade.

My experience has been go with the cheaper pads also. They wear and not your rotors. I have 180K miles on the original rotors. 80% city driving. I bought a set of "Lifetime" pads and they ground my daughter's rotors below minimums in 20K miles.

YES use the severe duty pads, they are not lifetime! Use top quality rotors stay away from the drilled or slotted!

thanks for the replys,
i just finished removing the tires and drums(had to use the forward/reverse trick)the front pads had about an 1/8 to 1/4 left on the out and insides, talk about close! the rotors are in better shape then i thought for 115000, theres barely a lip on the outsides with no pits or scratches. the drums are the same way, just a slight lip on the out and inside edge, shoes look good(maybe 40% worn)the passanger side drum needed the forward reverse, so i think that is why it was pulling to the right. as far as the rear goes, i will install the GM wheel cylinders/adjust and call it good. the fronts i will just put new pads on. do you guys have part #'s for the pads you are talking about?
once again thanks alot Mark
