I am trying to find out if theres a company out there that makes inserts for the stock bumper that match the factory honey comb grille? I've seen a couple trucks with this, but im not sure if they made them or bought them?

If you are looking for what I think. I am also going to get a set from J.C. Whitney, they are made by lund. 79.00 for the grille and 49.00 for the lower area.

 

I bought a pair for my 2500 for about $20, can't remember the source though. After I saw what was involved I made the set for my other truck out of the honeycomb from a junkyard gasser truck. The junk truck had been in a front end collision, grille was broken, junkyard gave it to me for free.
There is nothing at all different from the bought ones and the ones I cut out, they just wedge in, no other form of attachment. Been several years, haven't fell out yet.

 

same here, Just got a junker grill, used the honey comb out of it, cut it to size and painted it blue to match my other honey comb, siliconed it on behind bumper cover.
