Bully Dog mufflers on exhaust, and downpipes.....

I am looking at either the 5" or 6" pipes for my truck. How is the muffler designed on the bully dogs? Could I just turn it the opposite direction than it's supposed to go on and it act like a straight pipe? Where can I find 5" or 6" straight pipe? What about the megamouth downpipes? What do you think of those? If I get a 5" or 6" pipe should I tap into the stock, get a new 3.5" DP, 3.5" megamouth DP, reg. 4" DP, or 4" megamouth DP??? What's your suggestions??? Thanks

If you don't want the muffler, just get a pipe thats the length of the muffler and put it in. Usually any big rig store will have big pipe. I think the mega mouth is good even though I've never used one, but by the way it looks it looks like it would flow a lot more air. But if you plan to go to a bigger turbo soon, I wouldn't get the megamouth. Just my $.02

Hey, thanks. I didn't even figure going to a bigger turbo, that's the way I'm going to benefit from the megamouth. I'm not going to put in the money right now for a new turbo, but when I do, it's going to be a custom Banks triple turbo!!! It's petty slick, my freind has one he had made from banks original twin turbo. It whines like nothing you've heard before.

The Bullydog muffler in the 6" kit is the straight-thru style with the little scoops on the walls and can be reversed so that the scoops face rearward to increase noise a little. The straightpipe replacement is a better idea, though.

So what turbos were originally in this Banks twin turbo kit, and what turbo did your friend add to make triples?
