Building a Pusher Pump, need input
Hey guys, getting ready to build a pusher pump system next weekend. Planning on using a second factory lift pump (already had it, so figured it would work), -8an or -6an fittings, and aeroquip socketless fittings and line. Was wondering if anyone out there has a manufactured system from WIldcat or others, and could tell me how many 90deg fittings they had as part of the kit. I can't decide whether I need one coming out of the VP or not, but am sure of needing at least 3 of them (out of LP, in and out of filter housing). Also, how did you tie into the factory feed out of the tank? Last question- have heard of using the old feed lines as the new return line, how do they accompish this? Does the banjo at the VP just switch into the return banjo port? Any ideas would be appreciated-
