hello this is my first post here been reading here awhile just never joined or posted.my question is what is a good box for mileage and some more power?i've got a 99 4x4 with an auto and 4" afe exhaust and an afe dropin filter.

 

SMARTY, IMO. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge in that 24v?

 

yes and no .i've got one but it 's not on yet {will be this weekend}.a smarty is a little more than i want to spend.i was thinking a quad or an edge but don't know.i had a quadzilla on an 05 and it really didn't help my mileage much but it sure did run good.

 

An Edge EZ maybe but I think the Edge Comp would be a little hard on on that auto...

 

I'll tell ya what, I got tired of my EZ because you can't adjust it on the fly. So you have to pop the hood open every time to change the jumper setting. Since I already have the Quad Commander I'm just gonna switch to the 120 hp box. Even if you don't have the Commander it comes with a switch **** and is half the cost of an Edge Comp.

 

Question...I've been following this thread too...is the Quad box a fueling box, a timing box or both...?

 

From what I recall the Quad box is both a timing box and a fueling box.
