Yeah was just wondering were the best spot is to tap in for installing a boost gauge???

 

I just drilled and tapped my intake horn. I was the easiest place to get to and it works great.

 

I used a threaded port that's located toward the back of the head behind the fuel filter. Just needed an adapter and removed the plug and replaced it with my gauge fitting. No drilling or tapping required.
I can't remember the specifics but a search will find you what I'm refering to, or someone more knowledgable will chime in....

 

I know my old 12v had the threaded port that I used, but I couldn't find one on my '02. Are you talkin about a 12v?

 

No I have a 98.5 24valve. The Kit i got has a tee fitting in it. Should i use that or should i go into the port??

 

or you could use a boost bolt
