blue chip stack ??'s

as of right now I have my blue chip box stacked with a Van Aaken timing box, it's an older VA that plugs directly into the harness on the injector pump,& a set of 275hp RV injectors, my ? is could I stack a newer style Bullydog Torque Dog adjustable box with my blue chip box????? I was thinking that if I could run an adjustable timing box then I could run a bigger set of injectors & if need be cut the fuel from the blue chip & if I still had egt problems I could adjust the timing up or down & manage the egt's a little better, it's my understanding that the torque dog doesn't tap the pump wire, so it's just a timing box?? is that correct??? & if so would this idea possibly work?????? thanks, Dusty

if the BD hooks to the map , do it after the blue , ran into some issues with my redline and a juice , had them backwards and it wasnt fueling like it should , now i just use the juice for timing

Doesn't the Redline box add a ton of timing?

unless something has changed with Chip's boxes that I'm unaware of, then neither the FMS or Redline add timing, they are only fueling boxes like the TST, the Redline adds a ton of fuel & plenty of rpm's, but no timing, Dusty

Hmm, people rave about the TST/Smarty combo. I bet a Redline/Smarty combo would also be great.

i'd love to try a FMS/Smarty stack, but unfortunatly the funds won't allow it now, but I'd also like to have something adjustable like the torque dog if at all possible, Dusty
