Hi everyone, first time using the site and i have a few questions. I drive a 99 2500 auto QCLB 103,000 miles and replacing Injector pump and putting on new FASS fuel pump tomorrow after the factory ones died while driving to town. When i bought this truck in march it appently had the wastegate blocked( screws in both end of split tube) didn't know until july. I have been wondering if the new fuel pump will cause any problems with the wastegate being blocked. Also when i have spare time i will probably install my Edge Juicew/Attitude Moniter to watch temps, boost, etc. This kit comes with a restriction tube and i didn't know weather or not to use it or keep what i have. Wondering which will be better. Thanks for any help.

 

You should be fine for now, but use the boost elbow in the kit when you add your guages to make sure where you set it. The 24v guys will be of a little more help though. Oh yeah, and welcome.

 

It's highly suggested to use it because the stock turbo is only good for about 32-35 PSI of boost without going off the map. Beyond that is just hot charging...

So with the boost elbow your max boost should be right around 32-35 psi... Until you get something bigger...
