big turbo

if a guy has purchased a big turbo, but doesn't want to put it on untill the propper stepps are taken what should those steps be? the only thing i know of is head studs... is there any thing else such as head work or and seals or gaskets of any sort? kind of a newbie at this stuff...

Lots of fuel A large single on a 12 valve can be slooooow to spool. As far as being able to handle the extra boost headstuds/o-ring should be all you ever need.

I know someone that can help...

You'll need studs at minimum since the truck as that many miles on it. We can invite Josh from Woodruff out to o-ring the block in Johnny's shop too. Or you can buy a head and we can have it sent to *Texas* for extra work.

Gauges first (boost, pyro, trans temp), then injectors. What turbo do you have in mind?
