Question The Big Question???

Ok here’s what started this. Saturday night I was coming home from a friend’s house and this Titan goes flying by me on the right and a 4 Runner on the left. We all get to the next light and I figure I’ll play with him a little. Like I said my truck spools pretty quick but there is still some lag. He jumps out about 1 ½ lengths before my turbo gets going good I pull up till my front bumper is right at his rear bumper, but that was about it.
I looked up the ¼ mile times for a Titan and they run 15.4’s. So I figure my truck is right there if I don’t launch it.

HERE’S THE BIG QUESTION.

With the mods listed in my signature, my truck runs pretty good with manageable EGT’s. My question is, what could I do to get just a little more out of it without hurting EGT’s or reliability? Would a little more timing help? My fuel plate is pretty close to centered, but it has a fairly aggressive (top end fueling) grind on it. Also I do have a 5’ver I tow but not a lot or very far, so I can drive by the gauge if I had to. My truck run’s a 14.95 @ 93.7 mph, this is using a G-Meter that showed 386HP, which is ok but to do that I had to “launch” it. Not too hard (6-8lbs boost) but not like you’re pulling away from a stop light either. I’ve got a set of 191 dv’s that aren’t in the truck at this time. I’ve had them in and out several times (before this turbo) they did help bottom end a little but with a lot of smoke and heat. This turbo spools pretty quick now. Without going to twins, (which I may end up doing) anybody have any suggestions. I’m running about 40lbs. of boost, my EGT’s will hit about 1450*, but that’s at WOT and not till I get to 85-90 mph.

370's is what you need and put the dv's in. i don't think you have enough fuel right now to push the turbo you have. i have a stock turbo with an 18cm housing and i have a tough time getting to 1500deg.

Forget the 370's and put in DDP stage IV's. I put them in my truck and am very happy with the power, and they don't just fog the road with smoke, they make serious power with the proper spray pattern for our engines. The highest egt's I have seen is 1350 after taking off and jamming all the way through 5th gear. Towing you will probably need to control egt's with your foot.

Sorry about my signature, I've already got the 370 injectors in the engine. I had them before the turbo, and held off installing them till I got the turbo.

What kind of EGT's and boost #'s are you seeing? Where do you have your timing set at?

If you do DV's you'll pick up about 40HP, but you'll smoke like a freight train with those 370's. You should already have 181's, 191's or laser cuts are gonna add lots of smoke and heat.

I'm hearing good things about the DDP injectors, kinda leaning that way myself.

My only problem with the DDP injectors is I already own the 370's. When I had the 191's in the last time I could peg my pyro quick. Where are you getting info on the DDP's and who is selling them?
