Can anybody give me a link or source of supply for the intake????? Hope all of you are staying warm, I'm down in Key West for a couple of months. It got really chilly last night-around 65 degrees.

I get them from a NAPA store in Kernstown, Virginia $35 each. This is the cheapest I can find. All the stroes up here in PA and NJ want close to $60.

 

does anyone else have to have them ordered? we tried to get one for a friend this week at our napa main distirbution store and they were out of stock we went to three napa's and no go

 

Add a "4" to the NAPA # and you have a WIX number, WIX manufactures NAPA's filters. In fact add a "3" for fuel filters, "4" for air filters, and a "5" for oil filters. Many quality parts stores stock WIX or WIX manufactures their filters resulting in the same last four numbers of the part number.

Pardon me not necessarily the last four numbers when a non NAPA filter as you can see the last three of the Carquest & Big A filters are "790", also made by WIX, to get nit picky WIX is a DANA CORP brand, such as many parts are.

well i have been doing a little research (no job)
AH19037=10.5"round X 11.88" long cheapest i could find $43.16 / wix 87790
AH1141 = 8.5" round X 12 3/8" long $ 28.00 / wix 46637

both have a 4" opening and the other end closed. hope this helps, mine is on order will be here in the morning.

 

Does anyone have instructions for making a BHAF? I am just curious as to what I should use to close the other end of the filter up if I decide to go this route.

 

the other end is already closed on these filters.

 

Although Geno's garage doesn't stock them, they can get them. I just paid $26.60 for mine about 1 month ago. Fleetguard too.
