Thats to bad shoulda went with the HTS!

 

the VB is here.....Any hints or tricks? I'll be installing it tomorrow.

Lucky you! After waiting an extra 2 weeks for DTT to get their order of TCs in, I anxiously waited for their arrival today, even started to take of driveshafts and crossmembers. Unfortunatly Purolator screwed up the delivery and I won't see it untill Monday!

I'm leaving on a long trip next Thursday, it going to be cutting it close.

 

Hey Clay keep me posted on how you do putting in your converter I am going to be doing the same job as soon as my Goerand Tripple and valve body arrive,I'm not looking forward to it at all.........

 

The TC is easy, remove tranny, pull out TC push new one in put tranny back in. Its the VB that's a bit tricky.

 

got the valve body in this morning....did the whole job in 2.5hrs.....The only issue I had was that I broke the E Clip on the park rod when I removed it...dont ask my how, but i did...So I robbed a e clip from another location on the old valve body and used it. So far, so good, 10mins driven on it, and its done pretty good. I need to get out on the highway and check it out!
