Valve body- Who is best?

The valve body in my 518 needs attention. I am going to do a 2nd gen. flex plate, a Hughes converter and valve body at the same time. I think I prefer to go with a new performance body rather than rebuild mine. Who is making the best valve bodies at the most reasonable price?

There are a whole bunch of companies that manufacture performance valve bodies. You can choose from Suncoast, DTT or ATS to name a few. I installed a Suncoast VB in my truck and have been pleased with the results. Shifting is firm and the TC is charged even in 'Park'. Try an online search to see who's in your neck of the woods to save a little on shipping. In my case, shipping a valve body from two extreme ends of the United States (Florida to Hawaii) proved somewhat costly.
