a open never ending question..
really is going to come down to what u want. mpg, fueling/hp/timing/ etc.. there are ones that can do all that plus monitor you boost, egt's and fuel pressure. which you should have no matter what. and some of these said boxes or programmers can kill a clutch or a tranny if its not beefed up. as well as your head gasket. etc. some will limit how you tow or how heavy you tow? what would you like out of your truck. is there a HP goal. also some of the boxes are even better with a good mild injector as well. but you need to address you fuel pressure and make sure you have great pressure for the demand of fuel needs from these boxes. do you have a aftermarket fuel pump.

My truck is completely stock except for low fuel pressure light & 2" levelling kit. Its even got a cracked 53 block

Im looking for better fuel economy & mild performance gains.

Does a Edge EZ tell me my fuel pressure?

thanks,
Doug

if your looking for a bit better mileage with mild performance then look at the edge ez or the quadzilla xzt+

i recommend the xzt+ because it is switchable on the fly between stock, fuel econ, and performance ; it has cold engine protection (won't add power until engine is at temp) ; has high idle capabilities ; has usb updateable programs (all are same HP, but they just differ in aggressiveness) ; and the fact that most who have run both say the xzt+ is hands down a better box.

i cannot comment on the ez with firsthand experience - but when i ran the xzt+ i was happy with it. the only reason i took it off was to add a bigger programmer for more power . . .

2nd the XZT+ but if your starting out fresh I'd get the Adrenaline. Alot more adjustability and you get gauges or you can use your Iphone/Ipod for the gauge cluster...
