I see you live 20 miles North of Pittsburgh. I live in Calif now but I grew up in Rochester/Monaca/New Brighton/Beaver Falls area. Still have 5 brothers and 6 sisters with LOTS of family that live there. Small World isn't it.

I have heard that if you sign up at alldata.com you get the same info as in service manual plus more. Cost is about $25 for first vehicle and $15 each additional per year. Find details here:

you might want to sign up for cummins quick serve online alls you need is an email address and you engine serial number and it shows break aways of all the parts of your particular engine..... www.quickserve.cummins.com and they only allow you to use one engine serial number for free but if you had a fleet of engines you can pay to have all of them on it.

dzlfarmboy, Thanks for the lead. That helped tremendously. Best of all its free.

Dave Miller. The alldatadiy is also excellent. Was looking at the 5.7l GMC engine and had the tsb on the knock it makes. I'm stuck driving my wifes old 97 suburban, until my truck is fixed.

ctd89-99. Thanks for the lead. Going to contact them for some tests.
