The comparable boxes between those two companies would be the TST and the Edge Comp.

The Comp does fueling and timing adjustment, the TST only does fueling. To make the TST work well, you would need to stack it with something that does timing. You can either stack with the Smarty or with a Edge EZ. If you just run the fueling on the TST without any timing, you'll likely such much higher EGTs. I've run my TST without the Smarty in place and I was able to peg the pyro on a WOT run. When the Smarty is there, temps are more manageable.

Both boxes also have "hot" upgrades that allow more fueling to higher RPM levels.

TST without a doubt is hands down the most reliable box of the two mentioned. As to which box puts out the most power is debatable

I love my tst/smarty stack, but if you want to run one box and be done with it, go with the Edge Comp box. I ran just a edge comp with some 50hp injectors and it was a great setup. One good thing about the comp boxes is you can find them used for a good price. ONLY bad thing about them is what Mike D is hitting on, the TST is more likely to be problem free compared to the edge. The only problem I had was when it was cold, I would have to turn the edge off and back on to get it to work. Search for edge comp, you will see theres a few different problems with them. None of them are a big deal, just annoying. I remember there was another thing it would do, I think if you turned the fuel down on 1 or 2 it would turn the fuel down on all the settings.

Stack a TST with the Superchips. You'll have 10 levels of adjustability (9 power levels and off) to play with to help control your temps.

Depending on what I'm towing, I'll run anywhere from 2-6 on the TST.

you can not turn the timing off of the superchip so with the edge that's to much timing not a good combo. I run a edge and love it a good stack is pro comp and smarty IMO
