Best for...

Gentlemen,

It is time for me to add some gages and a tuner/computer (smarty, edge, who knows??).

I read that old TSB about injectors and a tuner and 22+ mpg. My question is: can better fuel mileage be accomplished with just a tuner?

I have an intake and exhaust, and only plan to add the tuner unless there is compelling evidence to do injectors too.

I dont want a pulling truck or the fastest truck on the block. Just the same old reliable dodge I have now with better fuel mileage and maybe a little more pep.

Thanks for any and all advice.

I had a smarty, For everyday driving I ran it on #3 with timing.
I got 1 mpg increase. That was with normal driving, The problem
is with new found power our foot gets heaver, mpg goes down.

Tire size and gear ratio aside from having a light foot helps increase mpg. Quality injectors can slightly improve mpg along w/added HP. It's a combination of many things that get you there.
