Autometer D-PIC
Autometer D-PIC
I saw this and thought it looked pretty cool. Has anyone tired one of these or even know if they will work in our trucks. I'm curious to as to how accurate they are as well. It reminds me of a g-tech, but you can put this on your A-pillar...

I saw those too. I figured they would be expensive, but $189-199? That's more than the original Gtech... wonder if they work?

NeedMoPower,
We have sold a few of them and the feedback is very good. It fits the 2 inch gauge mounts and does basically everything a Gtech does etc. Been planning one for my truck but just haven't gotten to it yet.

All I can say is that if it works similarly to the G-Tech, it will be good for ballparking gains from mod to mod, BUT will be quite a ways off from real world track results. There were quite a few of us who frequented Friday Night Drags with G-techs and the results were as much as a FULL second and 7-8 mph off on a 12 second car. It was consistent though... The G-Tech times went down fairly parallel to the track times... Just not accurate to the track times. Maybe Autometer's done some refining though and the results are of better quality.
