Well i'm finally getting around to upgrading the sound inside the cab. I just put in a new HU and was wondering about amps and subs. Subs will be under the rear seat so I will need a box first. The subs I was looking at were the flat pioneer's 10 or 12 since theres limited space. Seeing as how I know nothing about audio, what should I be looking for as far as the watts on the subs and what kind of amp to push them, what would yall recomend for the best sound?

 

Unfortunately there is no real way to answer your question since what is the best, cant be answered. Your budget is your only limiting factor just like anything in life. All manufacturers make good products but they are all usually limited by the install in autiomotive applications. I personally like the sound of a single 12" or a pair of 8" but no 2 sets of ears will agree on the best. I think most will agree you shouldn't cheap out on your power and buy the most you can afford because like anything in life power is control.
