i got a ats triple torque converter and valve body and deeper tranny pan a few months ago. it has maybe been 3k miles since, and when they installed the first one the tranny would hunt between 1 and 2, it wouldn't shift normal but would actually go back and forth.
well ats sent a new valvebody and i had it installed and it was fixed.
all was fine until today it started doing the same thing when going into od. it is retarded and makes me super ******!!! do you think it needs to be replaced or what?
does ats cover this stuff?

Heck yeah!!! For the kind of money you spent they had better take care of it. Their trans stuff carries a 100K/36 month warranty provided it was installed by one of their dealers/authorized facilities.

 

Really? I can't find that documentation anywhere.. just on the converter...

 

i installed the dtt noise filter i had laying around and the problem seems to be gone!

I was just about to tell you to pick one up if its just doing it with converter lock and unlock
