ARP Head Studs and Valve Cover Clearance??

How much trouble has anyone else had after installing the ARP studs with their valve covers leaking? . After Cummins got done with my truck they did the first clearance of the valve covers. They leaked a little. Today I took them off to clerance them a little more and now the leak is much worse. I may just have one of the gaskets a little jammed up. But I just thought I would see who else had these issues.... Thanks...

Dave

You have to make sure that the webbing in the valve cover is removed. My leaked a little and I had to remove more material.

Which lenght of studs did you get? The longer studs go in the exhaust side and the shorter one go under the valve cover. I had to cut a corner off my valve cover for one of the studs to fit. There is lots of room under the valve cover so I'm suprised that you have issues. Some guys cut down the threads so you have a better fit.

On a 12v the longest ones go under the valve covers.
