anything sound wrong with this trans?
ok theres a local shop that comes pritty highly recomended by my diesel shop. with there setup they say it can hold 1200 ft lbs. it will have a triple disc converter, they said they dont upgread the input of out put and have never had a problem they could trace to an input breaking first. 3 yr 75k warrenty, priced at 3200. anything elce i need to ask? does this sound right? (i liked the price till i asked what the same thing for my brothers stroker would be and its only 2500)

My 1999 3500 trans failed only a month ago with about 65,000 miles on it. The torque converter failed. The rebuild did not come with anywhere near the warranty that your new one has. My new one is an upgrade and the only upgrades to the transmission was supposedly upgrade solenoids and valves. My transmission shop is also highly recommended. My warranty is only 12,000 miles and one year, which ever is first. The costs was 2800. To me, your deal looks better. If my new one outlives my old one, then I will feel that I did good.
