Anyone Know How To Get The LARGE Service Manual....

direct from Chrysler? The BIG thick one that's several hundred pages and is put out for our trucks (and all their vehicles) by the manufacturer? My buddy recently got his from them for his 92 and I am impressed at the contents of this thing....no wonder he's such a brain on these trucks!! As that book was out of print, Chrysler had to put the book together from it's archives and charged him about $125.....BUT.....it has every speck of info you could ever imagine about his 1992 Dodge Cummins pickup. He's searched for the phone number for me so I can order one for my 02 but he's been unable to find it.
I seen one pass through Ebay for about $75 which included shipping but was gone and unable to bid. Otherwise I would have pounced on that.
Anyone here know which one I'm talking about and the phone number that I can order through??? Thanks bunches!! Chuck

the manual you are refering to is the shop manual, same thing the techs use at the dealership, just call the dealership and they should be able to give you the number. not sure if they are the same as our shop but when a customer asks for a shop manual they are given the number and they order it themselves, and direct.
anywhere between 150-200 is reasonable, our manuals are 3-500 depending on the equipment

O.K. Thanks! I'm still kicking myself for missing that one on Ebay....$67 plus shipping and it was the big one with the blue cover you're talking about. Someone got a deal....

Look in the back of your owners manual. That is where I ordered mine from.

It'd be mighty nice if you could upload that file somewhere

An upload of that size would not be feasible to a page like this nor by e-mail, but I won't offer any advice on how to share that file since I don't want to get in any more trouble with the admins.

If it were me I wouldn't post or request a pirated version of a FSM

I was informed by my local dodge dealer that tech authority is the place that they order all their manuals from. Looking closer at the site looks like it is actually owned by DaimlerChrysler. Some of you may have already noticed but apparently I didn't pay that much attention to it.

They are slightly higher then what everyone else quotes on the older stuff but thats because they have to print everything off. I was told around 125$ for my 94 but its in reprint so it would take 4-6 weeks.

Gosh, YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE!!! Sending me to a place like Geno's Garage at a time when I have some money in my pocket and a new (to me) truck in my driveway. So many things for the 02 compared to the 93.... WOW!! Anyways, I ordered the big book along with the thingy that mounts in the bumper where you plug in the truck. I also bought one of those cool Cummins C-Power gear shift *****. Geno's has lots of things I'd like to have, like the Brite Box, the 96 oz. mats, the Quadzilla Commander Control System. I could go on....
Any other places I shouldn't venture to with a new truck and some cash in my pocket?? Thanks (I think) you guys!!!

Guilty as charged:

I have to look at it like Snipe Hunting.....Once you have done it, you cant reveal the secret to the club until someone else has been there..... Genos is an addicting place, I'm getting ready to order Gauges and that really nice steering wheel cover.
