anyone got an edge pulse?
if anyone has one, how do you like it? how does it compare to an ez as far as install? reason i ask is i appearently got a bad comp and have heard the comp's for the 2002's are not working very well. anyway, i'm considering swapping it for an ez, but then though, "hmmm, what about a pulse?". anyone have any thoughts?

I didn't think they made the pulse anymore...?? ??? My comp works great on my '02! I would just keep trying until you get a good one! ;D<br><br>Tony

Edge doesn't ship the Pulse anymore, but there may be a few still around at various vendors. I've got one I bought a couple of months ago for a very good price. It installs under-the-hood like the Edge EZ. However, it has the pump wire option, and four power settings along with four sub-level settings for defueling and smoke control. In order to program it, you've got to set jumper switches, which you can access by removing two allen screws and a metal plate. <br><br>Mine works very well, but honestly, unless you're worried about taking it off quickly (for trips to the dealership, perhaps), or unless you can find it at a good price, another Comp will probably do you better. The Pulse is really a Comp without the in-cab adjustment feature. If you do get a Pulse, make sure you also get the special MAP plug for the '02 model year. <br><br>GP
