Do they work to stop the road spray when it rains? My truck is filthy within minutes of driving on wet roads because of the road spray. I don't mind it being a little dirty but I mean it just gets really dirty from driving through the smallest amount of water. I was considering fender flares but I don't want to waste my money if they don't work. I'm also hesitant to buy them because then I will want wider tires!! My wife will kill me!!

 

I bought the heavy rubber dodge mud flaps...supposed to be "anti-spray". BS. Looks like a monsoon behind the truck when it is raining. They DID reduce the amount of crap that would get on the truck. Doors and sides stay cleaner than without the flaps. I am pleased. Maybe this will help in your case.

IMHO I really don't think the flares will help with this. However, I do like the look and want a set of BW flares.

I have Bushwackers Extend a fender flare. Yes they stopped all my water spray and I think they look really cool. After changing to 16x8 wheel with 3.6 backspace, I was spraying the side of my truck with with even a mild rain on the road, now nothing. I also have mud flaps front and rear 12x18's. JC whitney had the best price......
