I was under the impression that 65-70HP is the most gain you can expect from a NON wire tap box.

Is anyone running one? Are they just claiming "up to" 120 hp and only delivering 70HP?

Could it be that they claim Flywheel horsepower, while other's like the smarty advertise RWHP? Just a thought

 

Yes, the link Bobcat698 provided works and it states power is, as measured at the crankshaft

 

Still, flywheel horsepower at 120hp deduces to 96 RWHP at a 20% drivetrain loss, which is still 26HP more than your average non-tapping box/programmer.

They always overate stuff.

I tell you what. If you buy one and it does not tap the pump wire and you dyno it and it makes anywhere close to 120rwhp I will pay for it.

Anyone can punch in horsepower gains. That is easy. Backing them up is the difficult part.

They do they same crap on their tuners. They have something like a 325hp gain tuner. Yeah, and I have a 54mpg program and some ocean front property in Arizona!
