I just installed the J hook on my stock turbo and have a couple of questions. With the edge comp on level 3, I hit 35-38 lbs of boost. With it on level 5 I hit 40 lbs. Anything over 25lbs and it starts sounding like it is going to come apart. The sound reminds me of the noise you get when you spin a wheel bearing with an air hose. All boots and connections are tight, it is not leaking air its the sound of the turbo. It is not a whine but more of a high pitched roar. My question is, is this sound normal? I pull a camper often, how long can I hold it at 35 lbs without risking turbo failure?

check your air filter, mine used to try to suck itself inside out under high boost when it wasn't freshly clean.
to be safe, i'd adjust the wastegate to stay under 30 lbs and watch the EGTs!
