Am I getting ripped off? Or is this a decent deal.

I asked this Diesel shop about a double deep tranny pan for y 47RE & X Monitor installed..here's what i was quoted. Just don't know if this is right or not...seems a little steep, particularly the pan and oil etc...

Xmonitor. Usually they come
with a pyrometer, boost gauge, and tranny temp gauge these go for $449.00.
Figure $35.00 to paint the pod, 2 1/2 hrs. at 65.00 an hour to install the
Xmonitor. The double deep pan is $290.00. Figure an 1 1/2 hours to install
it. Figure $100.00 for oil lube guard and a filter. The tow Pro chip goes
for $519.00. It adds up to 70hp and 210ftlbs torque. Give me a call and we
will set up a time to get your truck into the shop

The tow pro is just a rebadged EZ and can be had for 425, the only reason to pay more is if you want the DD version which has a zero setting. Your kind of stuck with the xmoniter because it really doesnt have much in the way of a comparable item that would provide some competition to bring the price down. Dont know about the pan cost but an hour and a half install time? They ought to be able to do that in a half hour with one hand behind their back while the other spends half the time hoisting a coffee cup.
