Are there any high output alternatrors available for our trucks, say big enough to light a small city or about 200 amps?

Has anybody installed one? How good is it?

There's a thread about installing a Leece-Neville heavy truck alternator over in the 1st gen section. The accessory drive is all the same up through '02, so I don't see any reason that couldn't work for you.
