Just starting to mod my 02. I have added a 5" turbo back exhaust and now want to add a air intake system and need some advice. I have heard K&N filters allow to much dirt so I am considering AFE. Any suggestions?

 

Well I've been running the large cone K&N for my homemade BHAF set-up and haven't hade any troubles yet. Compressor wheel still looks like new so I don't figure its doing too bad of a filtering job. JM 2 cents.

 

AFE with a pro dry. AEM Brute Froce HD/Workhorse would be my second choice. I have both, AFE in my 97, and AEM in my 04.

 

I like the AFE.

 

I have the AFE stage 2 air intake, and it dropped my egt's 100+ degrees. Turbo looks real clean, and man does it ever let you hear the turbo whistle
