Anyone have opinions or experience with the AFE Stage II SI intake kit?

Part # 51-80072.

Are intakes really worth it if I am running a stock engine with an upgraded 4" exhaust?

sound awsome and filter 99.4% you will be happy with this filter

 

Very expensive? Nice to have but only needed if over 600 hp?

 

look up cfm ratings and FILTRATION on afe , s&b, volant, I have seen K&N dust engines just sayen

I have a 2001 Ext cab automatic with a superchip tuned on hi-perf,stock exhaust that comes into 2 5" stacks, I am using a K&N air filter and am very happy with my performance and fuel economy, I also removed the silencing ring on my turbo for better in cab whistle. I have 345,000 kms on my truck.
