Air Dog 150 Mounting

So i am finally replacing my junk in-tank pump with an Air Dog 150. I started to mock the pump up on my truck and found that its a very tight squeeze to get the air dog mounted on the inside of my frame between the tank and the t-case. **** shortbed... So anyway, can anyone tell me if fabricating a bracket and mounting the pump in the location in just described but perpendicular to the frame rail would not be a good idea? Mounting the pump like this looks good to me and it would also get some protection from the tail of the stock skidplate. I would gusset the bracket so that vibration and tweaking due to rough roads would not be an issue. Thanks for any input!

I think airdog has a different bracket for your application, call them I think they will send you the right one, instead of the standard bracket

You are most likely going to have to get creative on mounting on a short bed quad cab.

sorry about not updating the thread. i ended up welding up an "L" shaped bracket with a piece of angle along the back for rigidity. it is working great so far, but its definately a squeeze. the pump is sitting about 3/4" from the tank and the back of the bracket is about an inch from the back of the t-case. if i have some time i will snap a picture and post it up.
