Aimco rotors
Called Autozone and got prices on rotors for my truck and they gave me a price of $44.99 per rotor and it is a Aimco brand. Mine have never been replaced just turned and I think it is time for new ones.

What brands have you guys been using and price?

What do you think about the Aimco for 44.99 per rotor?

Hauler ;
I got mine in Frankfort at NAPA for $33 and change.
I didn't see having the down time at that price.
Plus it wasn't much higher than having them turned.
Or buy new ones , have old ones turned and hold on to them for next time.

: Eddie : 8)

Re:Aimco rotors
Hey Eddie, I just called NAPA in Cynthiana and they want 55.89 per side for the NAPA brand. Might stay with Autozone saves me 20.00 bucks. I can get mine turned for 8.00 per side but I must likely will buy new ones. That would be the safe thing to do.
Re:Aimco rotors
CH, I would go with the new ones too. The rotors they make today are not as beefy as they used to be. Seems like you turn them once and then hit a water filled pot hole while they are hot, and instant warp.

Re:Aimco rotors
Don't forget, you will most likely need inner and outer bearings and races as well as grease seals. Be careful driving in the new races, that can ruin a bearing before you even put it on the road. Use a good quality hi temp wheel bearing grease too. Don't ever tighten, that will smoke them quick.

Once I knonck out the wheel studs the rotor and hub will septerate. I will take pics this evening.
Re:Aimco rotors
Coolness, post the pics when you get a chance. I was use to my old 89 where you have to tear everything apart. Have not had the occassion to tear down this one yet and hope it will be a long time before I do. Is that why there is no periodic greasing required on the 3500'S?
